# MTC names Catalyte finalist for “Technology Company of the Year”

The Maryland Tech Council (MTC) has [named Catalyte a finalist for its 2022 Technology Company of the Year award](https://mdtechcouncil.com/maryland-tech-council-announces-2022-industry-awards-finalists/). This honor is part of MTC’s annual Industry Awards Celebration, honoring, “individuals and companies in the life sciences, technology, and government contracting industries that have made a significant impact in their respective fields.”

This nomination comes one year after Jacob Hsu, Catalyte’s CEO, [won the Maryland Tech Council’s Chief Executive Officer of the Year – Technology award](https://www.catalyte.io/jacob-hsu-ceo-award-md-tech-council/).
