# Catalyte wins Inc.’s Best in Business award

Inc. named Catalyte as one of its [“Best in Business” in 2020](https://www.inc.com/magazine/202102/inc-staff/impact-purpose-company-of-the-year-best-in-business-2020.html). It awarded us this [honor for our use of machine learning and predictive analytics to remove the unconscious bias from hiring](https://www.inc.com/profile/catalyte), our training and software developer apprenticeship that creates a new, diverse generation of tech talent and the launch of RetrainAmerica, which extends the promise of retraining and a new career to a greater number of Americans.

Inc. bestowed this inaugural award on companies that made an outsized impact this year, leaving “collabo­rators, clients, customers, employees, and surroundings better off than when [they] found them.”

This award caps an impressive year for Catalyte. In 2020, the company:
